Supergroup Badge question

I was playing the other night and I was doing exploring stuff, when all of a sudden after getting a badge it said "Super Group Ministry of Sin recieved Badge St. Martial Beacon" I have no Idea why or how and I wasn't able to see where those badges get listed. Any ideas?

It's an exploration badge -- you ran around enough while in SG mode exploding things to earn the SG a badge.

Well done.

GameSpot.com says there are 3 more exploration badges for St. Martial Beacon and a bunch more for all the other areas as well.

The SG badges are very important later. When we get a Base built we can install (for a price) a Teleporter and then you can head from the base to the zones that we have the SG exploration badges. This means You can Go from Sharkshead to Mercy, through the base, cutting out Cap to the Black heilocopter line.
