She is one of my favorites. I ALSO like to call people camel cunts Wink She  took an unexpected turn for me this book. I feel bad for her that by the time she finishes her training, everyone on her list will already be dead. Also, I sincerly hope the blindness is temporary.

After all the crippling that's been going on, you can never tell.  I'm expecting it's temporary too.

I get the idea that Arya's training was another one of those things that was suppossed to be fast-forwarded over, and that the whole visit of Sam was kind of added to add interest to chapters that GRRM had to put in.  Could you imagine him trying to put out a novel without Arya in it?

She's definetly my second favorite.  Tyrion, of course, being first (and he had better be in the next one, dammit!).

If Arya's permanently blind Shmoo kills GRRM.  The end!  Find and kill, terminator style yo.

Arya 'n Tyrion are my two favs as well, well prolly and Jaime now.  Although I also include Ned but he's been dead so long now it barely counts. 

Also Prince Doran is da bomb.  Gouty and gross, but da bomb.

Hmmmm... favorites - I think #1 is actually Doran.  He is wicked clever, at least somewhat moral and upstanding, and manages to play the game so well that he is getting a lot of what he wants done without anyone realizing he is in the game (much like Little Finger).  Tyrion is also high on the list.  So I guess I have a thing for deformed schemers?

In terms of the big brutish thugs (also one of my favorites archetypes) - I am a big fan of Victarian - and of course Senor Hound.

BTW - related issue - favorite House for me is definitely Martel (sp?).  Anyone else?
