Okay, i'd like to get a handle on which characters we have for the Sin themed team. I'm suggesting that we pick a level cap and let those of us who have yet to get the goddamn retail version of the game catch up.
To be honest I don't know which names/characters are planning on doing what. So before I create Mr. Pride i'd like to see what holes, if any, we have.

Why don't we cap off the sins at around level 14 for now? It's all about reaching the travel powers.
What are everyone's non-beta sin/vice themed names and builds so far?
I've got Ms. Anthropic - Corruptor - fire/kinetics - level 11
I really like the name and I think it fits well into the sin/vice theme, so if anyone wants to snag Greed or Avarice, go for it.

So, kinda curious about how many you have for your "Sin Roster" so far. If you have an extra spot I might be willing to join that group depending of course on the times you intend to play. I am currently trying to split my time between CoV and WoW (Monday & Thursday Nights).
Currently, my only CoV characters are Acanthoceph (Fire/Thorns Dominator) and Naio (Ninja/Ninjitsu Stalker).
Note: I would take Avarice in a heartbeat if there is room.

Effectively, there is room. If we hit the team limit of 8 people, we can split into two teams of 4 and 5 (or more). Generally speaking, most classes do damage. That makes most parts fungible.
Our previous CoH team was designed from the start with two empathy defenders. As we grew, we found that we could replace one of them with something else. Since warmth is a blaster secondary, anyone making a corruptor can add it and be a healer. Slotting warmth for effectiveness gives you something much closer to an empathy defender, but if you don't burn too many slots and you group with a kinetics corruptor, or any other AT with a healer and the group is small (4-5 players) you can get along just fine.

Everyone here isn't on the same page with the names because some folks are irregular forum visitors. We've already had one namespace collision. What I recommend doing before you create the character is checking out the supergroup member list and seeing if there is an avarice there. If not, have at it. |
