So the topic has come up of management for the VG/SG.  Generally speaking everyone here is cool.  I don't expect people to go out and be jackasses.  I do think we should only invite folks that are known to some of us in real life.  This works out well for the WoW Guild that i'm a part of.  I don't care who creates the SG or VG, I just want to have enough permissions to add other characters to the group.

As far as base construction goes, I say we get one or two folks together per side (CoH and CoV) and have them work things out.  They can take requests from the general populace, create rooms of type for people, etc.

I wouldn't mind being manager/co-manager of the Villain Group.  It's all about the evil, baby!

I like divvying up responsibilities. I can manage the CoH group (add/delete folks, give permissions, etc.), and then I think we should have an official Builder.

Sounds like another position is Salvager, which OniNoJay sounds like he's going to be for the CoV group.

Saving the world one security violation at a time.

Ooo!  Ooo!  I am all about the salvaging!  I also made the suggestion to Jay that after we get all of the intial members signed up to ensure we start out with as much prestige as possible.  They give 20K signing bonuses to new members up to 15 members...so, if we are shy of the 15 mark then we can just make up some throw aways to cash in on the extra prestige.  So at least we can start with a clean 300K.

I've been thinking about what my job would entail as Workshop Manager and so far this is what I gots.

I will be collecting salvage from everyone in the VG, then use said salvage to break down into materials to use in construction of base items.  I will be compiling a list of everything that I am given by members of the VG and will be posting what becomes available to us whenever we get enough material.  I will also keep some materials aside for people to make their own base items.  When I get enough left overs I'll send out messages to you guys starting with the person who gives up the most salvage at the time if they wish to have materials to build a personal base item.
This way everyone gets a chance to use the workshops if they want.
If this is fine with everyone then we'll start this up as soon as COV goes live.
Although we might not be able to get to it early on in the game but we will need both an Arcane and Tech workshop if we are to utilize everything we get salvage-wise.

Sounds good to me. I think that we can get both work benchs and work shops pretty early in the base so it shouldn't be to much of a problem.
