I must Cry DOOOM! Well over all I think its a cool idea, after all people need to use more than two types of Enchancements in powers, that could be neat. But the Perma Hasten going by, by and with all the I5 changes it looks like I need to start up a couple of new toons if they don't give out respecs.

They can kiss my ass.
Groundhog's defense powers require as many DefBuf and ResBuf enhancements as possible in order to make him effective. All they are doing here is making him suck more.
Maybe this was the right time to start playing World of Warcraft

I'm actually trying to withhold judgement on this until I see firsthand how it plays in game. It might not be too bad. When we all run together, we're an unstoppable juggernaught. This may require us to work a little harder for it (and maybe even take the mission difficulty down from Impossible every once in awhile) but I doubt it will even seriously crimp our style. Our biggest asset has always been our tactics and our teamwork, not our enhancements. It can't be any worse than when we play with all our enhancements gone yellow.

Doesn't seem like it's going to be so bad. It'll be nice to actually see what my percentages are for my enhancements. And an extra respec is always good.

It looks like they are basically weakening every power that benefits from 3 or more SOs.
I guess my beef is that I like the pace of the game and the overwhelming force that our teams represent. When they change that aspect and make common mobs more dangerous, they change the way I view the game. I feel less heroic and more vulnerable.
I'll still wait to see it live, but I won't be looking forward to it.

/Rant on
I agree with Brak Zanagin. It's going to screw tankers and any power that needs to be buffed up with six slots. With the I5 changes I stopped having as much fun playing Colder, now with this I just want to make level 50 and never play him again, and that sucks. I have lost all heroic feeling with Colder, I can run missions solo anymore, and if perchance I face more than 2 white cons, I'm in for a world of hurt. At 3 white cons I might win but more likely I'll lose. When I see anything more than 3 white cons in a group I get debt.
Now how am I heroic? And this all started in I5, I can't wait to see my damage drop cause I don't have my powers slotted for damage as much, in stead of 3 or 4 shots now it will take me 5 or 6 shots to kill a mob, of course I'll run out of end before then. Lets not forget that I spent tons of slots and time buffing my defense. With I5 and the Stealth Defense nerf, plus the toggle dropping attacks, and now the Enhancement Diversification program (Sounds like a Money Market) I can't wait to see my Defense drop to the floor.
The reason that I hated many of the other MMORPG's that I played in was the constant "balancing" of stuff. Everytime you figured out how the game was working and got the "balancing" over with a new patch would come out and "fix" something else. Now CoH has been good over all with only 5 major Patches in one year, unlike Neocron, Starwars, and Lineage. Everytime I would log on to the previously listed games I would download a "fix" and then be screwed in the goat ass. (ok not all the time and it wasn't always screwing, sometimes they just humpped my leg). The good thing about CoH is the patchs include new content, but this is only so the "fixing" and "balance" will be looked over for the cool new zone. The Hollows and Striga was fun and hey I was excited to run the new places, but with I5 I don't care about Crotia, not one little bit. I'm now jaded.
The Best thing I can see coming from the new Enhancement Diversification program is a respec so I can get rid of all the old stuff I was doing with Colder and try to build him again, one more time.

Ya know? Maybe it won't be so bad.
I hope it won't be.
For some of this I don't blame them. They were (will never) be given the time to properly plan a game system. The industry thrives on shipping a product and fixing it later. Everytime something new is integrated, they have to re-work everything.

I am hoping they tone down the villains like they supposedly did when they did the Large Defense Reduction of '05. I have to agree on the not feeling as heroic as I should be but then I want to be able to go toe-to-toe with ArchVillains of my same level, solo, and win. And we know that's never going to happen. I think they need to retool defiance a bit and have it start working earlier. It sounds cool that at 5% hps I do 500% more damage...if I hit...if the villain doesn't hit me first...if I can target his buddies fast enough... You get the idea. I'm gonna stick by it though and keep a positive attitude about it.
