I don't know how many of you are Democrats, and of those who are Democrats, how many are Dean supporters.  But, for those of you who are (like me!), just wanted to give you a heads up on some upcoming "Meetups."

There are two in Herndon, on Sept. 3rd (this Wednesday).  One is at the Tortilla Factory, and the other is at Amphora.  There are also two in Baltimore on September 7th (next Sunday).  One is at the City Cafe on Cathedral Street, and the other is at some brewery near the Harbor (I can find the info if anyone is interested).  I will probably be going to the one at the City Cafe, if I can get a ride or scrounge up cab money.

Let me know if anyone wants to go with me.  It is best to RSVP, apparently, because they cancel any Meetups with less than 5 people.

I am getting really pissed off with this system not letting me login, and then erasing everything I write.  I have written this fucking message *four* times now, and I am not happy.

Anyway, the Baltimore meetup was improperly scheduled for Sunday.  It is actually tomorrow, so if I go, I imagine it'll be solo.

More importantly, however, is that Dean will be speaking, as far as I know, at a rally in College Park next Monday, September 8th.  The rally will be at the Nyumburu Cultural Center on the UMCP campus at 6:45 pm.  It should be huge.  They are telling people to Metro.  I am going to do everything in my power to get there from Baltimore.

I hope no one minds me posting all this campaigning/political stuff.  This is the anything board, though, I figure.  Smiley
