Hey, guys,

My friend in Phoenix started playing again last night, and we talked about the Monday night group.  He wants in!  He's going to block out Mondays for the gaming, and he's created a fire/dev blaster of magic origin named FluxFire.  So if you're online and are willing to help power-level him, that would rock.  Good thing we're not playing on Monday, and we're still finishing up the Striga TF, but that will get us enough time to get him to the right level by the 28th game.  Is everyone cool with that?  I've pointed him out to these boards in case he wants to introduce himself or if he has any questions.

Glad to have been invited to what seems to be a very fun group of people.  Any suggestions on does and doesn't on building my toon would be nice.  So far I have to admit I'm enjoy the blaster type very much.

As for Fire/Dev, the key is Targetting Drone.  Though I have to admit that I wonder if it's even needed in our group.  Basically once you get TD, you can remove all of the Accuracy enhancements from your primary powers, replacing them with Dmg.

For the most part, you should be focused on Damage production.  You could work out a build like this:

Slot[09] Level 14 : Rain Of Fire /Dmg,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg

Slot[11] Level 18 : Health /Heal
Slot[12] Level 20 : Stamina /EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec,EndRec

Comments about this build: 5 Recharge Redux in Hasten will give you mostly perma-hasten.  There will be a 15 second lag, or so.
You need to have at least 4 slots in Stamina.  Ideally 6.  My blaster has 3 or so slots and I run out of end when hasten is running Even when Jack of Spades (our Empathy Healer) pops off her End recovery Aura.  Before you get Targetting Drone, you'll want Acc in your attack powers.  You might want to wait until  you get 3 slots in TD before you remove the Acc from your attacks.

This is more of a target, what your character should look like at level 28.  Since you're trying to get there you might take powers which won't be optimal in our group, but will allow you to level faster (i.e. Caltrops, Smoke Grenade, etc).  We'll probably run you through the respec TF when you hit 24.

I dunno, anyone else have better ideas?  I haven't run a Devices 2ndary above level 12 ever.
