Hey - if there is a date that works I would like to setup an Anime day in March.  I know this has been snoozing for a while, but most of the health and family crises have past and the wedding is ready to go, so I am free again come March.

In terms of what to watch - I would think we want to continue with another disk or two of the shows we have been watching (as I recall Cowboy Beebop and Hellsing - was there anything else?), and there are a couple of interesting cyberpunk Animes that have caught my eye - namely Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex (the TV Show - and they also now have a second movie out), and Texenholyze, the latter of which I have been watching on my own.  Ghost in the Shell is supposed to be a lot lighter and less moody then its cinematic cousin - alot more like the Manga (including annoying artificially intelligent Mecha, I am sorry to say).  Texenholyze is from the people that brought you Lain, but is a lot more linear and action-oriented - very cyberpunk with crime syndicates warring with radical humanists and big explosive gun-fights.  It is still incredibly bloody and incredibly depressing - but at least not in a sanity shattering sort of way.

Some others to think about - I was given Samurai X for X-Mas, and have heard that that is pretty solid - I would be open to watching it.  Also, I never got a chance to see the 2nd Lodoss - although for some, watching the 1st first might make more sense.  And for the artsy at heart I keep meaning to see Metropolis and Memories.

I am also gonna e-mail blast this.  My schedule is bad for the first week in March (cause of my honeymoon), and the 19th is bad because it is an Augusta game.  Otherwise, my schedule is wide open...

Hey - does anyone have any of the previous e-mails about Anime stuff?  I erased all of mine, and no longer have everyone's e-mail.  If you could forward to my hotmail account I would be most appreciative.  Thanks.

Well
Well

Well.

What a surprise you lost all those e-mails?  Man and you're worried about *me* losing the ring?  Wink
