So I still think the restaurant club is a good idea, even though I haven't really seen anyone in months -- maybe especially for that reason -- and I'd like to propose we plan an outing for January.  Any takers?

Sounds good to moi. Smiley  I believe Lee put Obelisk on the table for our next outing, anyone have thoughts on that?

Me and Shell would be in - her leg is good enough that she can sit and eat out again.

That's what I was really wondering about.  I didn't want to have RC w/out Shelley.  If she's good, then yeah, what about Obelisk for January?

Anyone want to start planning times?  I still think we should look into doing it during the weekday, as we should get better service (definitely) and better food (theoretically).

The middle of the week is fine with me; time of month may be more of an issue.  My better half is having LASIK on the 20th, so we'd vote either for the week before or the week after.  The week after would probably be better from the perspective of allowing our bank account to refill after the holidays, but either would work well.  Cheesy

Sounds dress-uppy, so I won't be going.  Which is OK, I know you crazy kids love your dressin' up!  If you do at some point go somewhere that doesn't require me to change my clothing to eat, let me know *grin*

The week after the 20th would be fine with us as well. Anyone else have a preference?

So a couple of the restaurant club members have taken on new financial burdens - namely Mr. Monkey (Chris) and his lady are now officially engaged and saving for their wedding - and me and the soon to be Mrs just bought a new house.  And thus, sadly, me and Shelley are dropping out of the club to save for some new furniture, and my guess is Chris and Jenn will probly drop as well (although I can't speak for them - and they may disagree).

Oh, BTW - for those non-Augustans - this is Brian.  For game reasons I changed my screen name from Xerxes back to Jeremy.
