Other 18 SO Enhancements

From what I've been able to tell from the forums, the "non-power 10" SO enhancements are now being sold by ALL contacts in TI and IP... based on type.  So we just have to find a contact offering Magic missions (read: NOT Sky Raiders) and do a little work for em.  Oh, and you can't buy things from other people's contacts, so either we all have to find a Magic contact and do a mission, or one person ends up being the buybitch.  Another fun fact is that the forums indicate that while these SOs are now available much earlier, any enhancement bought at a contact costs about 3x store price, so be prepared to shell out 90k for each one.  ::sigh::

This is some good info.  Since you guys tend to read the boards much more than I do, if you see any interesting threads feel free to post them here.  I would like to get some more info on the guts of CoH.

The "power-10" enhancements are:  accuracy, damage, range (not cone), hold duration (I think), defense buff, healing, and four more I can't think of.  Specifically if you go into a store at level 12 you can find DOs of only these ten (lvl 15).  You won't find the other DO enhancements (like run speed, flight speed, immobilization, end recover, etc) in stores until Talos / IP later.  Then when you hit level 22 you can buy only the power-10 SOs in Talos / IP, but not the other 18 until later.  So people call 'em "the power 10."  It's kind of a gaming term at this point, in MtG there are nine old, out of print, super restricted cards that pretty much everyone assumes you should own one of each and put one of each in every deck (all five moxes, black lotus, ancestral recall, time walk, time twister) - so they call 'em "The Power Nine."  I think that's where the "power whatever" term comes from.  Make sense?

Annnnnnnyway so now yeah you can buy the non-power-18 earlier cuz people on the forums were screaming for months, but they're harder to find (as this thread shows).  BUT, Joc, I'd thought that whole, more expensive thing was no longer true?  Eh.    Thanks for the work Joc.

I didn't understand what the term meant, though. Like, okay, those are the "power 10", but what does "power 10" mean and what does it mean to me?
