*lol* I just found something out that's pretty funny. If you respec, you rewrite the history of your character's power selection. Now, normally that wouldn't matter much, but apparently the history of your character at each level is kept by CoH's DBs, so if you exemplar / reverse sidekick down someday, it'll know what you had.
So, for instance, let's say during your respec you don't bother taking your travel power (IE super jump) until level 24. That won't matter at all, unless you exemplar down someday to level 18 to do a TF you missed, cuz you won't have a travel power, cuz in the respec you didn't take it until level 24. That's, funny, and good to know.
The guide to respec is here:
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=1360049&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1#1360049FYI, I personally think it's more important (to me) to get my character just the way I want it during a respec, don't care much about the one time I might exemplar / reverse sidekick, so what you really wanna do is write down ahead of time what powers you're going to take, and in what order, that way when you're placing slots you get 'em where you want 'em. Which is why *I* didn't take 'fly' until like my last power choice, cuz I had no intention of putting extra slots in it, so I wanted to take all my powers that needed lots of slots early, like my best attacks and stamina.
Personally I also did it first on the test server to make sure it all worked the way I thought it would. I'd recommend the same for you, cuz if you respec @ 24, that's it until 34 (and you only get 3 total, ever per character). So if you have Q's on respec, or the test server lemme know, anyway just thought I'd share.
