Sounding a retreat

Okay, so i'm going to figure out how to bind a key to fire off the "whistle" emote and spit out some text that screams retreat.  That way when Lee or I see a  bad situation, i can hit a key and we can get the hell out of dodge.

For retreats, I think the strat we should use is this:
Lee continues provoking and taunting people to her.  One of the two healers hits her with a heal so she can stand for a bit longer.  Everyone else runs to the elevators and I count heads to make sure that everyone got out all right.

I like the idea!  Whistle's a good idea too, think it'll have to be a macro though.

/macro "retreat" "emote whistle$$ team Retreat!  Fall back!"

then you could bind the powerslot of the macro to a hotkey

/bind m "powexec_slot 9"


So who decides to call retreat, or should anyone be able to call it?

Yeah the annoying thing is that you have to fill up a slot with macros.  They really need a macro bar, or a way to call slots in non-active power bars, which makes me think of health food.  Or would that be non-health food?

Thanks for the macro.  I'll throw that in my config for tonight.

As for who should call it, I think it should be people who have a tactical view of things, or who are physically in the same room with people who have those views.  I normally wouldn't decide to call retreat, but since i'm in the back I have more time to react so I can hit the button when Lee says to fall back.
