Added some screen shot info to the tips 'n tricks area of the webpage.

----------
http://www.entropicrevels.com/coh/tipstricks.html

If you want to take a screen shot, just hit your print screen button (on your keyboard). This will store a .tga file in C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\screenshots (assuming normal windows install). These screen shots have none of the user interface (UI) though, no names over people's heads, nothing. If you want that stuff in your screen shot, it's been put in your clipboard. So if you quit CoH (or just don't take more screen shots until later) you can boot up Microsoft Paint or whatever and paste the pic (with the UI stuff). This does kind of worry me though, I'd think storing a screenshot in your clipboard / memory while playing CoH is asking for a performance hit until you clear it. I dunno... Tongue

Oh also, areas (big sections) on your map outlined in red are the "harder" areas FYI.  I added that too, but figured I'd also share here.  Smiley

Um, they got rid of (I think by accident) your location (like "Atlas Plaza 2") from the lower left area of the map.  Actually it's been moved to the lower left of the city map (like, pull up the map and click on the other tab).  Which is retarded.   Yeah I think it was a goof.  Anyway so also now you can enter this in your chat window, "/whereami" which'll give you the goods.

Also by the way, something I'd always wanted and hadn't known existed, you can bind a key so that you can tab / cycle through heroes (players) like you can with villains.  Sounds fuckin' useful if you're tryin' to send a tell or read info on a player or somethin who you're not on a team with.  The two thingie are "target_friend_next" and "target_friend_prev".  Which leads me to believe that "target_friend_near" would likely work as well.  So if you wanted to bind one of 'em to say the 'f' key it'd be:  "/bind f "target_friend_next".  Remember if you wanna do a special key you have to spell it out though, so if you want to bind to the ~ key, you actually have to spell out "tilde".  Now I just need to fucking figure out what they call the - and + keys and I'm GTG.  I'll post this in the tips 'n tricks part of the web page in case anyone ever forgets this shit (including me).

Mostly I use "target_enemy_near" which I bind to tilde (~) key.

Well until last night, now I bound "insert" to "target_friend_next" and "delete" to "target_friend_prev" - although if I ever figure out what the - and = keys are called I'll prolly move those two there.

But my fav thing, which I only thought of yesterday, is I have now bound "target_enemy_near" to the c, n, and t keys.  Not because I felt I needed four keys for "target_enemy_near" but because now I can't accidentally hit like say the n key and my nav bar is gone, or the t key and lose my target window.  Muwahahaha.  Smiley

Thank you, drive through.

I finally updated the tips 'n tricks section with all the stuff I've learned and/or know.  Thursday or so I should have DSL at home, so then new pics go up, woot.  If you have pics for me, feel free to e-mail me or link me to 'em or something and I can put 'em up.  Smiley
