'Nothing personal.'

Alteration on the general rules, or moreover the approach, on perception.  Many perceptive powers will only have effect if their use in noted for harder to find things.  For instance - many forms of "psychic invisibility" exist, the most obvious being the Vampiric invisibility that you have seen now with both Toby and Abdullah.  From now on, I will only give a perception roll for this if people are actively looking for hidden stuff (probably at a penalty) - or, as in the case of Abdullah last session, they have specific reason to believe that an invisible individual is there.

Similarly, some forms of magic that used to be very obvious will be more subtle.  Space spells, like scrying, will only be apparent to someone with Space Arcanum knowledge.  Vulgar spells will always be obvious to anyone with a Mage Sight spell up (you can detect the caster's nimbus among other things), but covert spells will only be obvious if you are specifically looking for them ("I am watching Bob the Wizard to make sure he isn't casting anything).  Same with "subtle" powers - i.e., a power that supernaturally strikes fear into the hearts of your enemies = obvious, a power that quitely erases a memory = inobvious.  If you want to analyze an effect or spell beyond "yep - that's a spell allright", you will again have to focus attention on that, to the obvious detrement of all else.

Keep in mind - this is both a boon and hinderance for the players.  While you are less likely to notice sneakiness then previous - so are the baddies - so feel free to get sneakier with your own powers as well.
